Description of the Project
It is difficult to convince private companies, especially local governments to turn towards sustainability if they do not have figures on how much market share at a global level or even by country the sustainable tourists comprise, and how they are, how they travel etc.
The aim of the project is to investigate precisely the market share of sustainable tourists, when they define themselves and how they interpret it, profile and travel variables, always taking into consideration the difficulty of the term itself, which can be understood in various ways. That is the first step of the study that is being undertaken.
