Description of the project
INRouTe generated the image document, and the United Nations World Tourism Organization counted on Dr. Nagore Espinosa Uresandi, as expert in tourism measurement, for the revision and edition of the document for its subsequent publication as part of a global discussion in order to receive comments on it.
Thus, the aim of the project was a comprehensive and critical reading of the document, introducing modifications where it was considered pertinent, reducing its length, editing the text and verifying consistency in the terminology throughout the document. All these steps were developed along the lines of the glossary that INRouTe proposes and with the purpose of improving its overall coherence in order to encourage reading, both by experts in the field and by agents in the tourism sector who are not necessarily experts in statistics.
