Description of the project
Within the Development of Excellence Tourism Plans for Camino de Santiago, Wine Tourism, Sports, Cultural, Rural and Congress Tourism, in2destination support focuses on Cultural Tourism.
Within the framework of this project, in2destination has undertaken, among others, the following tasks:
- Compilation and analysis of documentation on equipment, resources and cultural events with the capacity to generate a demand for own visits.
- At the same time, the cultural heritage of the community will be analysed to assess its capacity to complement an attractive stay programme based on cultural heritage elements.
- In-depth interviews with the principal private and public actors of the territory
- Analysis and diagnosis of the current situation.
Specific proposals for improvement and commercialization for strengthening the development of cultural tourism in the urban and rural areas of La Rioja.
