UNWTO hosted the second meeting of the Working Group of Experts on Measuring Sustainable Tourism in Madrid, October 20th and 21st 2016. Dr. Nagore Espinosa, director of in2destination, participated as expert in the field, as well as coordinator of INRouTe network.
The work conducted by this group is key. There is much to be advanced in terms of measuring tourism, but even more when applying the framework of Environmental Accounting to Tourism.
